In the upcoming live action flick The Last Airbender, we will see Zuko, the main antagonist in Book 1, anti-hero from Book 2, and the protagonist from Book 3.

He’s changed a lot in the Avatar the Last Airbender comic series. He was the elder child from the Fire Lord Ozai and the Princess Ursa. He relished his title as the Crown Prince of the Fire Nation, the land of the firebenders. Prior to the comics, he was punished by being exiled from the Fire Nation in order to retrieve Avatar. It was supposed to be his way to restore his honor and earn his position in line for the throne. He has a companion, his uncle Iroh.

In the movie directed by M. Night Shyamalan, Zuko will be played by Dev Patel. A British-Indian, he studied martial arts, making him a shoe-in for the role of Zuko. He is most known for his role in the movie Slumdog Millionare, gifted with several SAG awards and Critics’ Choice Award.

His role as Prince Zuko will be someone memorable. Make sure you don’t miss out!
